They can't reach the surface though because the comedy industry has changed.
Not to mention, there are all these wannabe hacks that try to emulate Bill Hicks, or Carlin.... just for the image of being "edgy".
But, without a doubt this man was revolutionary. Some say he wasn't as revolutionary as he's talked up to be. But, I think he is. Anyone who finds lines by crossing them will be revolutionary in any generation. The problem is, none will manifest now.
He deserves the shit that Opie and Anthony give him.
