Haifa Wehbe sings "Habibi Ya Einy" (translation) حبيبي يا عيني
Uploaded by: FrankCoffman
Video Description:
A wonderful expressive performance by Lebanese diva Haifa Wehbe singing Arabic standards "Habibi Ya Einy" (My Darling, My Eyes) and "Shik Shak Shok" (jangling sound of a belly dancer's costume, sort of like jingle-jangle-jingle or "shake, shake, shake").

The lyrics to "Habibi Ya Einy" in English:
My Darling, my eyes [Arabic term of endearment]
Oh, my eyes, my nights
You who make my eyes not sleep (stay awake)
During my days and nights
Truly, I've missed you
I promise your eyes
You who is separated from us
I have missed your eyes.
In your presence, in darkness
The night becomes more enjoyable
(While we're together it's more fun)
And the beautiful one prolongs it's life
And we sing "ya einy ya leil"
Singing is the life of the soul
Heals the wounded heart
Let's dance and sing
And let's live in the most beautiful paradise
Yalla Yalla Yalla
Come on, come on...
Yalla Yalla Yalla
Beat the drums for me
And you, oh
Improvise a little for me
And you, oh music
Play yourself for me a little
La la la la la la la
Dance for me, all.

It may have looked that way at 00:31, but acutally that's not what was going on. She was just goofing around, pretending to be perturbed about something. She does that cute little routine every time she sings "Habibi Ya Einy." It's a little joke that she plays.
That's just your own opinion. In the "more info" section (upper right), I've put a link to download an mp3 of this song. Many people have downloaded this song (to listen to, not to look at).
Haifa's CDs are also popular (for listening, not looking at). So, you shouldn't assume that your opinion is shared by everyone else. You don't seem to know much about her or what other people think.
And yet somehow...you can't stop watching her...because whatever she does -- whether or not you call it dancing -- her moves are charismatic and captivating... But don't over-analyze it. Just relax and enjoy the show...
i just clickedher video 2 post an insult comment
Yeah, that's what I thought. You didn't watch the video. You came here just to post a stupid insult. Why did you bother to do that? I guess you're a mindless jerk who likes to be hateful.
A lot of fools like you post nasty comments -- without even watching the video. You're a mean-spirited moron who doesn't know what you're talking about.
YouTube is for enjoying videos, not for spreading hate. Why don't you do something postive with your time, instead of being a pest? Get lost.
No, this performance was a few years ago, probably 2004 or 2005. Maybe, someone else knows the date or year.
Don't believe the plastic surgery myth. She has always been beautiful. She changed her nose -- that's all.
No, she didn't say that she had that much surgery. The only cosmetic surgery that she's acknowledged is the change of her nose.
Personally, I don't think she needed to change her nose. She looked fine before. But as you probably know, this kind of surgery is very common with women in Lebanon.
Cosmetic surgery can correct some flaws, but surgery cannot create a beautiful face. I think women would often be better off leaving well enough alone.
