| I've never heard her speak Bulgarian before! After all these years of life in Italy, her Bulgarian is still pretty good! I guess she is not thrilled with Sofia's condition these days. The last time I was there was 1985. Is it really that bad? Trash everywhere? In what context did she make this little speech? Thanks for posting this. |

| Her Bulgarian is perfect as of a native speaker. Guess her Italian must be very good too after all the years. Yes, she is complaining about the broken sidewalks and the stinking rubbish in Sofia, and it's really ugly, especially when coming from the West. |

| When did she leave Bulgaria? Her Bulgarian is as good as a native speaker, but a native speaker who hasn't spoken his native tongue in a loooong time ;-) She's totally right about Sofia, though. So much potential, but nothing is done. |

| I was born in Bulgaria, Stara Zagora, but I was only at the Sos=fia airport, but when I was traveling by taxi, I saw Sofia quite well and yes, this city is not so pretty at all, but u know, the komunismus still lives there and till it falls down, nothing can grow up I guess, but u know, the mountains in Bulgaria are very beautiful and nobody knows about it...anyway, Raina speaks bulgarien just like me, I live in Czech republic already 18years, moved in 6 years, so I think,she speaks really well@ |

| dude, i live in Italy since i'm 10 and now i'm 20 so what can i tell you...Sofia is maybe not yet an example od a beautiful city of Eu but for sure is one of the most fascinating. The comunism left also interesting things....Bulgaria i think is the point of meeting between comunistic culture and the western one so it's really an interesting mix which is what makes Bulgaria and Sofia special |
